Early Judaism
NPR’s Terry Gross welcomed John J. Collins (Early Judaism) to Fresh Air Wednesday to discuss his work with the Dead Sea Scrolls. NPR later posted audio and highlights from the interview. (We particularly enjoyed Collins’s comments on Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ.)
- Anthony Thiselton’s Review of Biblical Literature review of Stanley Porter and Jason Robinson’s Hermeneutics: An Introduction to Interpretive Theory called the book “a clear, eminently readable, and wide-ranging work on hermeneutics that deserves a wide readership.”
- Tim Challies included three Eerdmans commentaries — by R. T. France, James R. Edwards, and William L. Lane — on his list of the five “Best Commentaries on Mark.”

Still My Grandma
The Alzheimer’s Society magazine Living with Dementia featured Veronique Van den Abeele’s Still My Grandma (illustrated by Claude K. Dubois) on its list of recommended “Books for carers, family and friends of people with dementia.”
- Sarah and Haley at Aslan’s Library included four EBYR titles (At Jerusalem’s Gate, Exodus, Psalms for Young Children, and Dangerous Journey) on their family-centric list of the Best Books for Lent.
