This Saturday, the members of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature will come together in Chicago for their annual meetings, planned for November 17-20. Over four days, many of the best and brightest scholars in religious and biblical studies will convene to discuss the books, papers, and ideas that are making waves in their fields.

Wherever so many great religious books and ideas, authors and readers are gathered together, there will Eerdmans be in the midst of them. A number of Eerdfolks are already on their way to Chicago this morning to begin setting up at Booth #514/515 — and they’re bring more than 150 different titles with them.

If you’ll be attending either of these meetings, be sure to stop by, say hello, and browse the Eerdmans booth — all books in stock can be purchased at  40% off the cover price throughout the meeting.

Read on to see just a few of the books that will be available. To browse the full list (and to make up your wishlist ahead of time), check out our special AAR/SBL Edelweiss catalog.
