  The Ethical Vision of Clint Eastwood

  Mark Oppenheimer delved into Sara Anson Vaux’s The Ethical Vision of Clint Eastwood in his New York Times feature “Amid Guns and Blood, an Ethicist Finds Religion in Eastwood’s Films.”

• Mark Goodacre (Thomas and Gospels) is live blogging the Jesus, Criteria and the Demise of Authenticity conference currently taking place in Dayton, Ohio. Goodacre is himself among the excellent lineup of conference speakers, as are Eerdmans authors Dale C. Allison Jr. and Anthony Le Donne. • Brandon Vogt shared his video interview with Ralph Martin (Will Many Be Saved?).
• The Children’s Book Council included Hillary Hall De Baun’s Starring Arabelle on its featured “Back to School We Go“ reading list.
• Byron Borger praised Kendra Hotz and Matthew T. Mathews’s Dust and Breath in his recap of a local parish nursing conference recently served by Hearts and Minds Bookstore, calling the book “truly fantastic.”
