- Marcia Pally (The New Evangelicals: Expanding the Vision of the Common Good) asked “Evangelicals: Voting Bloc or Mosaic?” on Truth-Out.org.
- Looking ahead to Father’s Day in June, Publishers Weekly featured three books that “Highlight Bonds between Fathers and Children.” We were thrilled to see David Lawther Johnson’s Learning from My Father: Lessons on Life and Faith on their list.
- John E. Anderson reviewed Kenton Sparks’s Sacred Word, Broken Word: Biblical Authority and the Dark Side of Scripture on his HESED WE ‘EMET blog.
- Phillip J. Long shared his “Top Five Luke Commentaries” on the Reading Acts blog. Can you guess which two(!) Eerdmans volumes earned spots among his favorites?
- Kent Eilers launched an in-depth, chapter-by-chapter review series discussing The Juvenilization of American Christianity (Thomas E. Bergler) on the Huntington College Theology Forum.
- In contrast, Jim West offered an “exceptionally brief review (more of a short note really)” of Juvenilization on his Zwinglius Redivivus blog.
- And finally, we were very pleased to see Jodi Magness’s 2011 EerdWord blog post introducing Stone and Dung, Oil and Spit: Jewish Daily Life in the Time of Jesus featured on RealClearBooks this past Wednesday.

In fact, given the importance of this volume, I had hoped to see some coverage of Paul or other Jewish volumes you publish on this blog. It would have particularly apropos this week, given that Shavuos, with its custom of all night study is this week.
